Community Focused
Our community outreach concerts bring live chamber music to senior living facilities, schools, libraries, shelters, hospitals, and community centers. These performances are interactive and welcoming, often featuring conversations about the music and the stories behind what we play. We believe that the magic of string quartet music can and should be shared with everyone, and our goal is to present concerts that are both accessible and compelling to new audiences.
Through MVV's "Every Child Deserves a Voice" program, we teach at KIPP Harmony Academy and the Green School, providing free instruments and instruction to Baltimore City Public School students. Watching our students grow—from their first time holding a bow to performing in their first recital—reminds us daily why we dedicate our lives to music.
